There's a lot of competition out there in the dreadnought arena, but we really like the power and depth of this Larrivee D-50. A key member of Larrivee's 50 Mahogany Traditional Series, the D-50 showcases vintage-inspired elements such as a flat-top headstock, a hand-carved volute, and diamond inlays. It also features the company's signature symmetrical parabolic bracing system, delivering a unique tonal balance.
This exceptional, all-solid-wood dreadnought acoustic guitar is crafted from spruce-topped mahogany and includes a hand-fit dovetail joint for a secure fit and optimal sustain. The D-50 offers outstanding playability, thanks to its comfortable mahogany neck and smooth ebony fingerboard. High-end appointments include a bone nut, a compensated bone saddle, and cast bronze open-back tuners with engraved designs by Wendy Larrivee. Finishing touches include maple body binding, herringbone purfling, a herringbone rosette, and a stunning gloss finish.
