The Align Equalizer is based on LR Baggs’ popular Para Acoustic DI (used by many of our Nashville customers to get their best studio and stage sounds). It combines an FET gain stage—with both switchable gain settings and rotary Volume control—with EQ controls designed to bring out the best in acoustic instruments.
We especially like the the 6-band cut/boost EQ and high-pass filter that are voiced to help you tailor the tone of your outgoing signal and match your acoustic sound (which is what most guitarists are after). And a sweepable Notch filter effectively cuts resonant frequencies that cause feedback.
The Align Equalizer works equally well for banjo, mandolin and Dobro, anytime you’re looking for increased headroom and tone-shaping, for recording or live performance.
