LSL Bad Bone 2 - Lake Placid Blue
LSL Bad Bone 2 - Lake Placid Blue
At first glance, this LSL Bad Bone 2 might resemble another boutique builder's modernized Tele—but we like this one just a little bit better. This Bad Bone 2 boasts a stunning Lake Placid Blue finish over an alder body, designed with extra comfortable forearm, tummy, and hand contours. It retains all the traditional spank and sparkle you'd expect from a classic T-style guitar.
Splash (LSL names each guitar as part of its serial number) features a thin nitro finish, allowing the guitar to breathe and age naturally. This model shows plenty of weather checking and light relic wear, giving it that well-loved, played-in look. The roasted flame maple neck is shaped in a comfortable "Medium C" profile with an aged toner.
The pickups are hand-wound by LSL, delivering vintage PAF-style humbucker tones, with the added versatility of a push/pull coil split to get those classic Tele tones. This guitar is as versatile as it is cool—definitely not your grandpa’s Tele!
Every LSL is made by hand, ensuring that each guitar gets the attention it deserves. As LSL founder Lance Lerman says, “We build them all for ourselves, but then we have to sell them.” The care and craftsmanship are clear in every instrument.
