The LSL One Series guitars are handmade in the USA, just like the original LSL models, but with features that offer tremendous savings. One Series guitars feature a thin, satin nitro lacquer finish, limited relic/distressed finishes, and satin-finished roasted maple necks as standard—features that make these boutique instruments much more affordable.
This T-Bone One features an alder body (7 lbs 3 oz) with a lightly distressed shell pink finish. The neck is roasted maple with a comfortable "Medium C" profile—hefty enough but very easy to play—and a 9.5" roasted maple fingerboard.
The pickups are custom-wound LSL vintage-voiced single-coil T-style. Other features include aged hardware, dome knobs, a 3-ply aged white pickguard, string-through-body mounting, and brass barrel bridges.
Like every LSL, it was made almost entirely by hand—just the way you’d make it if you could. As a matter of fact, company owner Lance Lerman says, “We build them all for ourselves, but then we have to sell them.” You can tell.
