Radial Stagebug SB-2 Passive Direct Box

The Radial StageBug SB-2 passive DI is a compact, passive DI designed for electric bass, keyboards, and active acoustic pickups. Its small size fits perfectly inside a guitar case, making it ideal for traveling musicians.

The 1/4" input includes a thru-put to feed an on-stage amp. The custom-made Eclipse ET-DB3 transformer balances the signal and matches impedance. A -15dB pad can be engaged to handle active basses or digital pianos that might overload the input.

The SB-2 delivers a smooth, warm sound reminiscent of vintage gear. Its transformer can handle high signal levels with natural compression while eliminating hum and buzz from ground loops.

An innovative stereo-to-mono merge function allows you to connect stereo keyboards or computers without resetting the source to mono. The SB-2 output features an XLR connector wired to the AES standard with pin-2 hot.
