The Airwave’s innovative bridge/tailpiece design utilizes both through-body and bridge-mounting, securing all 12 strings with precision. Plus, its 12 individually tunable saddles ensure accurate intonation for every string. 6-per-side locking tuners make string changes easy and straightforward, unlike the challenges often associated with other 12-string models.
A semi-hollow korina body paired with a solid spruce top keeps the guitar lightweight (7lbs 13oz) and enhances its resonance, delivering a wide tonal range. The C-90 single-coil pickups seamlessly shift from clean, bright tones to a grittier, edgier sound. With Reverend’s exclusive Bass Contour knob—an adjustable passive low-end rolloff—you can fine-tune your tone to keep it clear and articulate in any position.
The 5-piece korina/walnut neck is both strong and lightweight, and the 24 3/4” scale reduces string tension for more comfortable playability. The 1 3/4” graphite nut makes chording and single-note playing smooth, whether using a pick or fingerstyle, while preventing string hang-ups for improved intonation.
