The Reverend Jetstream HB is a pretty cool guitar if you like having a lot of sounds available without needing a complicated setup. The Korina body and 25.5" maple neck give it a nice balance of warmth and snap, while the Special H humbuckers take it well beyond the usual humbucker territory.
The neck pickup has a cleaner, more open character than a typical PAF-style pickup, while the bridge has more heat and thickness without losing the note definition. The 3-way switch keeps things simple, and the passive bass contour is where this guitar gets really fun. Roll some bass out and both pickups can get surprisingly lean and P90ish, so there’s a lot of tonal ground to cover just from the controls.
The satin-finished oval neck feels great in the hand, and the Wilkinson 2-point trem, graphite nut, and pin-lock tuners make for a pretty solid hardware package. It’s the kind of guitar that feels thoughtfully designed rather than just loaded up with features.
This one is used and in very good overall condition. There are a few markings on the back of the neck and headstock, some scratches along the top arm contour, and a small ding on the back horn near the strap button, but nothing that keeps it from being a great player.
