MasterBuilt basses are the top-of-the-line for Sadowsky’s German-made basses, and this is a limited-edition version on top of that (#11 of 40). The top, fretboard, and matching headstock are all made from rare Snakewood, one of the world’s densest (and most beautiful) woods.

The back is torrified Swamp Ash; the neck is roasted flame maple. The pickups are Sadowsky’s passive J-style hum-cancelling in the neck position and a passive Sadowsky MM-style humbucker at the bridge. Electronics include Sadowsky’s highly regarded 2-band active preamp with Vintage Tone Control (VTC).
