The Sterling LK100 is built around Steve Lukather’s approach to a working guitar: versatile, comfortable, and ready to cover a lot of ground. The double-cut body keeps the design familiar, while the Purple Sparkle finish gives it a little extra flash without changing the focus from what it can do.
The dual Sterling by Music Man humbuckersgive you a solid foundation for everything from punchy rhythm tones to singing leads. The 5-way blade switch opens up a range of pickup combinations, and the push-pull volume control adds a boost when you need to push an amp a little harder for a solo.
The roasted maple neck has a 12" radius rosewood fingerboard and 22 frets, making for a comfortable, straightforward playing feel. Locking tuners and a high-performance tremolo setup round out the hardware, while the 25.5" scale keeps things familiar for players coming from a traditional Fender-style guitar.
