Takamine CRN-TS1 2023 - Natural
Takamine CRN-TS1 2023 - Natural
The CRN-TS1 is a slope-shouldered dreadnought designed to deliver a full-bodied acoustic sound with the finest amplified tone (Takamine's acoustic/electrics are widely regarded for their excellent tone and feedback rejection). While producing fine acoustic volume, the CRN-TS1 shines onstage. Handmade at the Takamine Pro Series facility in Sakashita, Japan, the guitar is noticeably well built.
The body features a solid sapele back, laminated sapele sides, and a solid thermal spruce soundboard—the thermal top allows for a more "worn-in" sound of a vintage instrument and will allow the instrument to age and sound better over time. It's not only a looker, it's also a great player!
The mahogany neck joins the body at the 12th fret, another tone-focused design choice. By shifting the bridge toward the endpin and away from the soundhole, "12-fret" models typically produce a warmer sound than the14th-fret joint of other dreadnoughts. The rosewood bridge has a two-piece saddle made of bone, for better intonation than standard one-piece compensated acoustic saddles. The CT-4BII Electronic system allows for easy plug-n-play for any setting, and the built-in 3-band EQ allows you to easily adjust the plugged-in tone to your liking. A case is included.
