This is one of those guitars that just feels right as soon as you pick it up.
It’s a Takamine EAN15C, made in Japan, and it’s rocking that classic cedar top with rosewood back and sides. You get a really warm, broken-in kind of tone with a nice full low end and smooth highs that never get harsh. It’s super versatile too, whether you’re strumming, fingerpicking, or just noodling on the couch.
The neck has an easygoing C shape that most people will feel at home on right away. Nothing too chunky, nothing too thin. The cutaway makes getting up the neck feel natural, and the onboard preamp makes plugging in simple if you’re playing out or recording.
Condition is very good for its age. There are a few small dings and some light playwear, just honest use over time. The only real thing to note is a slight haze in the finish that shows up in certain lighting. It’s subtle and hard to capture in photos, but worth mentioning. Frets are in great shape with plenty of life left.
All in all, it’s just a super solid, great-sounding acoustic you can grab and enjoy without overthinking it.
