The Meinl Roar produces a ratling sustain sound effect heard in many popular recordings. A wood resonating chamber gives the instrument a crisp, warm tone that projects well. To play, hold the metal “U” shape piece with your hand, and strike the ball with your other palm. Let the instrument ring out. Great for cover bands for anyone on stage to play, even with no skill.
