The Universal Audio UAFX Lion ’68 Super Lead Amp is a premium amp-emulation pedal designed to recreate the sound and feel of classic late-1960s British plexi-style amplifiers. It captures the powerful, harmonically rich character of vintage high-wattage stacks, delivering everything from articulate cleans and crunchy rhythm tones to aggressive, saturated rock distortion.
Using Universal Audio’s detailed modeling technology, the Lion ’68 reproduces the dynamic response, tube saturation, and interaction between amplifier, cabinet, and microphone. Its multi-amp design provides several classic British-inspired voices, giving players access to a range of iconic rock tones from a single pedal.
