The Way Huge WHE800 Purple Platypus Octidrive MkII combines the burly, buttery tones and amp-clobbering gain of the classic Red Llama Overdrive with a frequency doubler that produces an octave-up effect.
Unlike most octave-up pedals, this versatile stompbox cleans up nicely, allowing you to go from eerie, ring-modulator-style effects to full-blown octave fuzz. The MkII edition introduces a Hi-Cut control in addition to the original Volume and Drive knobs, giving you more options to fine-tune your tone.
