The versatile BB734A bass starts with a smaller body for greater comfort. The alder/maple/alder “pancake”-style construction and 6-bolt mitered neck joint deliver plenty of crisp attack, midrange focus and improved sustain.
A 5-ply maple/mahogany bolt-on neck resists warping and twisting, and adds more definition to the sound. A pair of P/J-style YGD Custom V7 pickups are routed through a 3-band Active/Passive EQ for increased tonal range and punch—in either mode. And a rear-mounted battery alert LED lets you know when it’s time to change, so you can avoid sudden power loss during a show or session.
The Vintage Plus Bridge allows for body-thru stringing at a 45º angle, or top-mounting to the bridge. The convertible saddle that can be adjusted to 2 different angles: rounder for a slightly softer sound, or angled for a slightly tighter one. Highly recommended—power, big sound and broad tonal palette at a very reasonable price. Gig bag included.
