The Yamaha GL-1 Guitalele is a six-string ukulele. Tuned a fourth higher than a guitar, fingerings can be directly transferred from guitar—no unnecessary learning of new chords! The higher tuning offers much better tonal stability than 1/2-size guitars.
The GL-1 is also great for students or players with smaller hands. We go through a lot of guitaleles, so please contact us to confirm availability when ordering.
