Here’s a really nice Yamaha Red Label FS3.This is the smaller Concert-size Red Label, and it’s a great example of a guitar that doesn’t need a big body to have a big voice.
The solid Sitka spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides give it a warm, balanced sound with plenty of clarity and response. Yamaha’s A.R.E. treatment and Modified Scalloped bracing help give the top a nicely broken-in character, with enough punch for flatpicking but the kind of detail that fingerstyle players will really appreciate.
The 25" scale, 1 3/4" nut, ebony fingerboard, and comfortable Concert body make this a really easy guitar to spend a few hours with. It’s also got that understated Red Label look with the semi-gloss Natural finish, V-shaped headstock, and open-gear Gotoh tuners.
Honestly, this is one of those guitars where the size can be a little misleading. It’s comfortable, light at just 3 lbs 14 oz, and has a surprisingly full voice for a Concert. Comes with a softshell case.
